6. SEPARATION

After passing through the decanter, the oil may still contain small traces of water and micro-impurities.

The separator refines the process. Through centrifugal force, it further separates the oil from the remaining watery parts and the finest residues still present.

This stage helps make the oil cleaner and more stable, preparing it to be transferred into the storage tanks.

The separator does not change the nature of the oil, but it helps protect the quality that has just been obtained. It is an important step because a well-separated and properly handled oil can better preserve its characteristics over time.

FROM THE MILL TO THE TASTING

Every stage of the process contributes to the final quality of Papelli extra virgin olive oil.

From harvesting to processing, from technology to storage, our goal is to preserve the value of the raw material and express our territory through an authentic, carefully crafted and recognizable oil.

The visit continues with the tasting: the best way to truly understand the work behind every bottle.
